2023 NWFA Wood Floor of the Year: Best in Colors, Finishes, and Textured Wood
The 2023 NWFA Wood Floor of the Year award in the Best Colors, Finishes, and Textured Wood category went to Floor Master Co.
The floor that took the award is this fantastic 8" beveled white oak. This project combines two mixed cuts—rift and quarter along with number 1 common plain sawn. There was approximately 250 sq. ft. of number 1 common plain sawn herringbone.
To achieve the light cerused finish, the wood was treated with Pre-Aging "Fumed Light" and finished with Oil Plus 2C "Oyster".
