Retro Surfboard Coffee Table
This surfboard-shaped coffee table was designed and constructed by Jonathan Blackwell of Blackwell Carpentry. It was crafted from hardwoods he harvested and processed from Costa Rica.
On the monkeypod elements and the spalted teak base, Oil Plus 2C Natural was used. The teak center double stripe was finished with Precolor Easy Nordic White and Oil Plus 2C Cotton White. Lastly, a custom blend of Hybrid Wood Protector Lagoon and Light Grey was used on the teak stringer in the center of the piece.
